High 1032hPa near 40S 135W extends first ridge to 25S 123W and second
ridge to 51S 120W, moving east 20kt. East of high and between first
and second ridge: Southerly quarter 20 to 25kt. Poor visibility in
showers within 240 miles east of front 25S 160W 32S 153W 45S 153W 55S
155W, moving east 20 knots. Within 600 miles east of front: Northerly
quarter 25kt with gale and storm as in warning 611 and heavy
northerly swell. Trough 31S 170W 39S 163W 55S 157W, moving east 20kt.
West of trough: West to southwest 25kt with gale and storm as in
warning 612.
Outlook following 72 hours:
High 42S 128W with ridges to northwest and to southeast moving
eastnortheast. Trough 30S 150W to southsoutheast, moving southeast
preceded by northeasterlies  30kt to gale, and followed by west to
northwesterlies 20 to 30kt.  Second trough 28S 158W southwards moving
southeast. Third trough 38S 173W southsoutheastwards moving northeast
followed by broad band southwesterlies 30kt to gale.  New low
expected 311200Z 42S 148W moving east with clockwise winds 30kt to
gale in western semicircle. High expected 311200Z 40S 176W moving
eastnortheast and intensifying with ridges to northeast and southeast.
Anti clockwise winds 20kt to gale developing around high in sector
northwest through east to southwest. Heavy swells with gales.
