HURRICANE FORCE WIND WARNING FOR NORTH EASTERN AREA
SITUATION
The Nadi Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre advised that at 240600 UTC, Tropical
Cyclone Jasper was centred near
 latitude nineteen decimal two south [19.2S]
 longitude one hundred and sixty decimal four east [160.4E]
Recent movement : southeast at 14 knots
Central pressure: 980 hPa
AREA AFFECTED
Within 240 nautical miles in northern semicircle.
  and within 300 nautical miles in southern semicircle.
FORECAST
Maximum winds to 55 knots near the centre, increasing to 65 knots in the next 12
to 24 hours.
Winds above 47 knots within 100 nautical miles in northern semicircle
  and within 240 nautical miles in southern semicircle with very high to
phenomenal seas and moderate to heavy swell.
  
Winds above 33 knots within 240 nautical miles in northern semicircle
  and within 300 nautical miles in southern semicircle with very high to
phenomenal seas and moderate to heavy swell.
